The experience
A 2-day introduction to Wenshan Laojun Mountain, giving its landscape and local character room to unfold.
Wenshan's Laojun Mountain is a forested protected mountain landscape, distinct from the Laojun Mountain area near Lijiang.
Your route: Wenshan. Meet and finish at the agreed point in Wenshan.
This is a suggested itinerary. The order can be adjusted around your arrival time, walking preferences and confirmed access, with a personal quotation before you book.
Your day-by-day journey
Day 1 — Wenshan Laojun Mountain: Forest landscape context
Morning: Explore Forest landscape context along the open visitor routes, leaving time to pause and take in the landscape.
Suggested overnight base: Wenshan. The named property and room type are confirmed in your quotation.
Day 2 — Wenshan Laojun Mountain: Mountain vegetation
Morning: Turn your attention to Mountain vegetation, choosing a section that suits your group’s walking pace and interests.
Later in the day: Make Approved foothill viewpoints the focus of this part of the visit. Leave time to look closely, ask questions and enjoy Wenshan Laojun Mountain without fitting in an unrelated detour.
Finish in Wenshan. Your onward arrangements are confirmed with the final proposal.
Travel details
Getting here and getting around
The sightseeing plan starts in Wenshan and finishes in Wenshan. Agree your arrival station, airport or hotel before booking; these meeting points are not interchangeable. Local attraction and village access is by the road and visitor routes confirmed for your dates.
Keep the visit based around Wenshan; a transfer from another city is an additional arrangement. Exact pick-up times, return arrangements and any internal scenic transport are confirmed before departure.
When to travel
Spring and autumn offer alternatives to the wetter summer months. Lake, village and viewpoint visits need a flexible order when rain or mist arrives.
Stays and meals
This 2-day plan allows for 1 overnight stay: Wenshan (1 night). These are suggested bases, subject to the agreed route and property availability.
Choose your preferred accommodation style and room configuration before a quotation is prepared. Breakfasts, other meals and dietary requests are itemised, with time for local food where it fits the day.
What your quotation covers
Ask for an itemised quotation covering the guide, agreed transfers, admission tickets, scenic-area transport, accommodation and meals you want included. A suggested experience is confirmed only when it appears in the final proposal.
International and onward travel, optional activities, personal purchases and unlisted meals are additional unless expressly included. Your dates, group size, room choices and service level determine the quotation; no fixed package price is implied.
Useful to know before you go
- Wenshan Laojun Mountain: Confirm authorised visitor access; this is not the red-sandstone Liming attraction in Lijiang.
