The experience

A 1-day introduction to Rehai Hot Springs, giving its landscape and local character room to unfold.

Rehai near Tengchong is a geothermal scenic area with steaming ground, hot-water features and separately managed bathing facilities.

Your route: Tengchong. Meet and finish at the agreed point in Tengchong.

This is a suggested itinerary. The order can be adjusted around your arrival time, walking preferences and confirmed access, with a personal quotation before you book.

Your day-by-day journey

Day 1 — Rehai Hot Springs: Geothermal walking circuit

Morning: Explore Geothermal walking circuit along the open visitor routes, leaving time to pause and take in the landscape.

Later in the day: Spend time around Hot-water landscape, using public paths and viewpoints to appreciate the setting. Water activities are an optional addition only when the relevant service and conditions are confirmed.

To round off the visit: Make Volcanic interpretation the focus of this part of the visit. Leave time to look closely, ask questions and enjoy Rehai Hot Springs without fitting in an unrelated detour.

Finish at the agreed meeting point in Tengchong; no overnight stay is required.

Travel details

Getting here and getting around

The sightseeing plan starts in Tengchong and finishes in Tengchong. Agree your arrival station, airport or hotel before booking; these meeting points are not interchangeable. Local attraction and village access is by the road and visitor routes confirmed for your dates.

Keep the visit based around Tengchong; a transfer from another city is an additional arrangement. Exact pick-up times, return arrangements and any internal scenic transport are confirmed before departure.

When to travel

Spring and autumn work well as planning windows. Summer rain can affect forest paths and rural roads; village and town visits provide alternatives.

Stays and meals

This is a day outing with no hotel night built into the plan. Allow time for lunch, and confirm whether meals, drinking water and dietary arrangements are included in the proposal.

What your quotation covers

Ask for an itemised quotation covering the guide, agreed transfers, admission tickets, scenic-area transport, accommodation and meals you want included. A suggested experience is confirmed only when it appears in the final proposal.

International and onward travel, optional activities, personal purchases and unlisted meals are additional unless expressly included. Your dates, group size, room choices and service level determine the quotation; no fixed package price is implied.

Useful to know before you go

  • Rehai Hot Springs: Stay behind barriers around boiling water; bathing is only for designated facilities.
